Spring Camporee. Here is Silas at the recent Troop 116 Spring Camporee, in Athens, Tennessee. They asked if they could make a CRAAAZY photo, and boy did they ever!

Charissa recently had the opportunity to go with us to the local Madisonville nursing home. It was a special project by our Children's Church ministry, called Jesus House Kidz at The Church of LIFE.

Andrew gets Eagle Scout Award.
Following in his brother JD's footsteps, Andrew becomes out 2nd Eagle Scout in the family. He was recently accepted to attend the NASCAR Technical Institute in Charlotte, NC and is scheduled to begin school there in mid-Sept 2008. Here is Andrew and JD with Andrew's first Scoutmaster (Glenn Drawdy). And no, that is NOT Kenny Rogers in the picture. Andrew is here praying with his pastor, David Grubbs, at the conclusion of his Eagle ceremony. Andrew truly has a strong heart for God and wants someday to form a musical band called "Second Chance" because God has given him lots of second chances. Prayer really does work!
